Last March 31st, a few minutes before the clock struck 2pm, you tripped while you were merrily running around the house. Lately, you have been rather fond of running from one side of the house to another part of the house. I was having lunch and you were playing around while you were close to your grandfather. Your dad on the other hand, is inside the room resting since he just got home from a long day at work. Then you broke the monotony of the moment when you tripped and hit your nose real hard on the edge of our sofa (wood), and then I started to panic when I saw blood dripping out of your nose very rapidly. I called out to your dad and he tried to get in touch with you aunt who is a pediatrician. We were told to rush you to the Emergency room of UST Hospital.
It was a grueling trip. You had a phobia of doctors when you were first confined in the hospital a month before your birthday. So it was really difficult. Imagine our shock when we were told that we had to re take the x ray of your nasal bone. It took me, your dad, and our helper Elsa, as well as one of the xray technicians to hold you steady while they were capturing the image since you were so strong.
It was breaking my heart to see you cry, no it was beyond that, you were wailing the entire time. The sight of doctors in white was sure to make you cry. It was with great thanksgiving that we went home when the doctor cleared you of nasal bone infraction.
It is said in Psalm that He takes care of his children and when they slip it is not fatal and not one of their bones will be broken! God lives up to his promises. Amen!
